How to set up passcodes, fingerprints & IC cards

TTLock smart locks support several keyless entry methods so everyone can get in their preferred way. This guide shows how to create passcodes and enroll fingerprints and IC cards with Smart Lukko.

    Passcodes

Passcodes let people unlock the keypad without the app—perfect for guests and contractors.

    1. Open the lock in Smart Lukko and tap “Passcodes”.
    2. Choose a type: permanent, timed, one-time, or recurring.
    3. Generate the code and share it with the recipient.
    4. Enter the code on the lock's keypad to unlock.

You can delete a passcode any time to revoke access immediately.

    Fingerprints

For locks with a fingerprint sensor, enrollment happens over Bluetooth while you're near the lock.

    1. Stand next to the lock so Smart Lukko connects over Bluetooth.
    2. Tap “Fingerprints” and then “Add”.
    3. Scan the same finger on the lock's sensor several times until enrollment completes.
    4. Name the fingerprint so you can manage it later.

    IC cards

IC cards and key fobs offer fast, tap-to-unlock access for locks that support them.

    1. Connect to the lock over Bluetooth and tap “IC Cards” then “Add”.
    2. Tap the card on the lock's reader to register it.
    3. Set a validity period if you only need temporary access.
    4. Name the card and save.

    Managing your entry methods

All passcodes, fingerprints, and IC cards appear in the lock's settings. Review them regularly, rename them for clarity, and delete any you no longer need to keep access tightly controlled.
